Our Story

Built by someone who has opened three centers

CenterBloom exists because the information you need to open a childcare center is scattered, contradictory, and almost never written by someone who has actually done it.

Meet The Founder

Debbie Papadeas

Debbie is the founder and owner of Little Sprouts Learning Center. She did not come into childcare ownership through a program or a playbook. She came into it the hard way, learning each piece as it landed in front of her, and then doing it again, and again.

Over the years she has opened a childcare center three completely different ways. She has reopened a center that had already closed its doors. She has built one from an empty space and a blank page. And she has taken a tired, underperforming center and brought it back to life.

Each of those roads taught something the others could not. Together they are the foundation of everything CenterBloom offers.

Why Me

Built from real childcare ownership

I didn’t build CenterBloom from a course or a business textbook. I built it from years of opening and operating childcare centers, leading teams, working through licensing, staffing classrooms, supporting families, managing budgets, developing leaders, and learning what actually works once the doors are open.

CenterBloom takes those lessons, systems, and experiences and gives other childcare owners a clearer path forward.

The Proof

Three centers. Three roads in.

Not theory. Not a course someone bought and resold. Three real centers, opened three different ways, each with its own set of hard lessons.

The Rescue

A center that had already closed

Taking over a center that had shut its doors means inheriting whatever went wrong, and then proving to a community that this time is different. Licensing had to be worked back through. Compliance had to be rebuilt. Trust had to be earned back from families who had already been let down once.

The Build

From an empty space and a blank page

Building from scratch means every single decision is yours, and every one of them has a consequence. Site selection, layout, square footage, ratios, licensing, equipment, staffing, enrollment, and opening day. Nothing was inherited and nothing was assumed.

The Remodel

Bringing an existing center back

A center that is open but struggling is its own kind of hard. The space had to be reworked and the operations rebuilt, all while families kept showing up every morning and the doors stayed open. You cannot pause a center to fix it.

Why CenterBloom Exists

Because nobody should have to learn it the way we did

Every time Debbie opened a center, the same thing happened. People found out and started calling. How did you do this. What did it cost. What do I need first. Can my space even be licensed. Am I crazy for wanting this.

The answers were always the same, and they were always things she had learned the expensive way. At some point it stopped making sense to hand them out one phone call at a time.

CenterBloom is those answers, organized. The roadmap she wishes someone had handed her on day one, plus the option to have her beside you while you use it.

Opening a center is hard. It should not also be lonely and confusing. That part is fixable, and that is what we fix. Debbie Papadeas, Founder

What We Believe

How we work

Honest over easy

If your space will not license, we say so. If your timeline is not realistic, we say so. Telling you what you want to hear is not a service, it is a delay with a bill attached.

Practical over polished

You need to know what to do on Monday morning. Everything we give you is built to be used, not admired.

Children come first

Every recommendation runs through one filter. Is this good for the children in the building. A center that is not good for kids is not a business worth building.
